Delicate Weaponry

We had Merry-Maddie and Jolly-Joey come over to play the other day. I came in from the kitchen to see them all donning swords, swinging (softly) away at each other.

I love how Jolly-Joey and Jane are holding their swords.

Life is GOOD!

How can it not be when we live in such a great place and can take a trip to the beach??

(except when my pictures upload all grainy! Grrr...I'm too lazy to change it, however)

This is our beach pad, complete with kite. Seeing it up above us makes us feel so happy! 

The awning has been so nice, too. Charlie isn't too crazy about the waves and this provides a nice shady hangout!

We really have to watch her--unlike Charlie, she will run right down in the water by herself.

This little pirate hasn't exactly got his sea-legs yet. He'd much rather plunder for booty ashore.

I had to post this picture because it really shows Jane's personality. She's so full of it!

I don't feel comfortable posting a picture of me in a swimming suit, so here are my hands! :)

Nurturing the sick...

While the conditions for Grandma's visit were not prime, we still had a little fun and wanted to show it! I'm glad that we did something out-and-about so Mom knew she didn't just come to nurse the sick and be my personal slave for a week. (insert crack-of-whip sound effect here.)

The floors and bathrooms are pristine, however, so if anyone wants to visit--NOW IS THE TIME!

It was reptile week at the Aquarium. Isn't this the cutest alligator you've ever seen?

Don't waste a day!

After we dropped Grandma at the airport, we visited the Museum of Life and Science, and you, dear reader, are now subjected to the photos!

I love this place. We could spend 

THE WHOLE DAY 

playing with all the hands on exhibits--provided of course our children didn't need naps. :)

I'm not sure how "lawful" it was to actually play in this trench, but Charlie loved the water. It felt so good on that hot day.

Jane loved running to catch the seeds falling from 50 feet above and bringing them back for a another round.

It is a train ride kids. Don't look too excited.
